I'm not leaving until Wednesday.  :2thumbsup;

Doing the whole 15 hour drive that day so we can be there for dialysis on Thursday.  :clap;

Everything revolves around dialysis, right?

Getting the heck out of town.

« Reply #15966 on: June 09, 2009, 05:34:33 AM »

Yes it is.  Hope they fix  my car AC this morning...  not driving it like that anymore.  MMMM, I do want a new car but that ole clunker keeps running and running and running.  I think it runs on an energizer battery (AAA).  Is AC a good excuse to replace it?

How can you stand it Tinah?  My cath bandages  got wet from sweat coming home.

A NY friend asked me last year, when I was replacing my house AC, what do POOR people do in Houston about AC.  I  said, simplel  We fix our AC and don't buy food for a while.  If this is  serious today, I might actually lose some  weight afterwards.

WOW that is crazy... I really grew up without AC and yes i grew up in Houston, We lived ina an old wood house that we only turned the window unit on at night in the bedroom to sleep. other then that we just were without ac. Needless to say I spent most of my youth outside running around. I like the fresh air

Yeah tough isn't me most of the time that is for sure. Just have to look at the positives or else the negatives will take over and i can't allow that to happen.. Imagine 6 kids 2 adults and not AC it was HOT.... (LOL)

So one more week huh? Well make sure that you exercise it DW. Make sure that you lift a weight and use a squeeze ball then you will not have as many issues

Hi, Dan and Tinah.

Sorry about your heat situation there. We are going to Massachusetts where the daily highs have been running in the 60s! LOL. I'll need a jacket!  :rofl;
