Last night, I kept having a dream that I could feel the cool breeze coming through my window, but my furnace kept kicking on.  In my dream, I had about 20 thermostats in my house, and I kept checking them to make sure they were turned off. But, somehow, the heat still kept coming!!   I finally woke up and found that my window was open, bringing in the cool breeze, but also that my hubby was on my side of the bed.  That man sure does generate heat!!!!  I asked him to move over a little.  The furnace in my dream finally shut off.  :)

I've always wanted a slurpee machine at my house.  I'd fill it with root beer.  Frozen Root Beer is the best!

I wish we had a Sonic franchise here, but haven't seen one in the Chicagoland area yet.

I'll get a Cherry Slurpee tomorrow when I go get gas,  :oops; ICEE, not slurpee. To many bad experiences from buy bad tasting slurpees

We rented a frozen drink machine once for my daughter's birthday.  Yeah...it was for the kids... that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.  They required that you also purchase their sweet syrupy drinks to put inside it.  We bought cherry.  There were 2 tubs in it - we put that sick sweet cherry stuff in one side - for the kids.  We put root beer in the other - bought regular 2 liter sodas at the store, and poured them in.  The root beer didn't dispense as well as the other stuff, so we just opened the lid and scooped it out.  It was great!!!  Of course, that was pre-dialysis days when I didn't have to worry about fluid intake.

I never understood why 7-11 doesn't put Root Beer in their slurpee machine!  I've suggested it many times, but the store personnel have no say in the matter.  They have both Coke and Pepsi - 2 different types of colas, and 10 other flavors - but never Root Beer.  Another good flavor is 7-up, but that is never there either.  A 7-up slurpee tastes like the white part of a bomb pop!  That's the best part, in my opinion.
