Morning... all.  Have to sit in the Little Chair of Horrors  today!  I keep expecting this flesh eating plant to come out of one of those tubes.

David,
We used to have an orange cat like your avatar. He was such a sweety. The other night we were driving out to the country to pick up a friend and I saw a cat who looked like ours lying in a driveway and I had the irrational urge to stop and steal it!

We have coyotes and foxes and our big boy lost his life to one. We heard it happen and it was so heart-wrenching. I saw your post about getting rescue cats and it made me sad. Our big boy was a rescued cat. One of our vet friends kept him after a woman who was dying brought him in to be put down. He was a good kiity.  :'(

Aleta, I can't even imagine what it must have been like to hear that happening.  I am so sorry.   :cuddle;

Sure, Dan, I would come get him if I lived nearby.  Is he a stray?

I don't know.  Maybe a neighbor because he is kind of  pretty.  But really rude!

I have lots of really soft chairss, etc. on the decks and he sits in one without even being invited.

Of course he does!  :clap; Cats are the true comfort creatures. If you are nice to him, you will have a new friend. He will chase away the birds that you don't like.  :2thumbsup;

Oh I like looking at the birds and the cats.  I just don't like  to touch them.  They bite and scratch.  How can you be nice to a cat that jumps at you????

Monday has snuck up on me again - but the sun is shining and it promises to be a nice day.  Hmmm, perhaps I feel a headache coming on so maybe I could go home sick.......... ugh.

Happy Monday IHD.

Good Morning all

Dan we had a stray cat in our neighborhood who came in our yard and would use it like his personal litter box. My dad was getting mad and since I just had a transplant, I didn't want him around. So I laid cat snacks out and caught him in our garage and then called animal control who picked him/her up. It wasn't a bad cat when giving snacks, but definitely washed my hands afterwards. Haven't seen that cat ever since, but hopefully he was either adopted out of picked up by the owner who learned a lesson. At the time we didn't have a fence and had only one cat, a different one from the ones I have posted.
