What's for dinner?  I'm depressed.

Dinner with friends tonight. Yeah, I know, we have dinner with friends alot.

Don't be depressed, though. The reason we are dining with friends is because a dear friend is back in town this week. She has been living with her daughter in Atlanta for a while since her husband died last summer and then she came down with cancer. A group of us are getting together to see her while she is here.

I miss her husband, though. He was a great guy.

Life is better, Dan.

Its ok Aleta.  I'm just still upset over that experience at the hospital last Thursday.  I'm trying to figure out how they would let me wake up from a procedure that didn't work and not even bother to tell me it didn't work.  I guess depressed isn't the right word.

Danny Boy I am right there with ya.  Not depressed but not content. That work?  I need to make us some good comfort food.  What sounds good to you?

It is easy to get down.  It is just good we all aren't "down" at the same time.  How depressing would that be?

Dan, are you watching the Belmont?  And tomorrow is the Tony's!    :yahoo;

I love Calvin Borel. He is a great jockey and it would be great if he won all three big races this year.    Linda Eder is singing New York, New York ---- you got to love Broadway people!

Wrong Bird.

But from the same father.   I really wanted Calvin to win.  What a story he has. I just like Mine the Birds whole team - owner,trainer.  Good story.   Now, I just have to wait until tomorrow night for the Tonys.   Have I told you that Beth's friend, Constantine, is nominated for a Tony this year?  He is in Rock of Ages. Constantine was in the touring show of Rent for quite some time. Then he was on American Idol, in the top ten.  He is a character.   To have him nominated is really funny.  He really isn't in the same catagory as past Tony nominees.  But, is in fun to actually know someone nominated.  Also, one of Beth's students is now in West Side Story.  Ok, I am done being a theater geek!

Paris, that is so exciting!   :2thumbsup;

By the way, thanks for the explanation about the race horse.  I was wondering why so many horses had "bird" in their name!   :rofl;

I hope you'll always  be a theatre geek...  Yea, the race was exciting.  Half brothers???  cool.  I did want Calvin to win though.  Thought for a just second he was going to pull it off.

Father was Birdstone.  I love how they get their names.

Sorry, Kitkatz, can't let you win for long!
