Closest thing I have to anything with purple is a white shirt with my schools logo. The school color is purple.
If there are people there on Friday, is there a plan to do something?

I will be there Thursday night, so will Rolando and Alene. Just hanging out together I think.

I'm going to a large book sale in Oak Park on Saturday morning. Is that a pretty good section of town? I'm sure Chris will know.

BTW, we'll be there sometime Friday afternoon.

We'll be there sometime Friday afternoon.   A book sale?   My husband might like to hear about that.  He might go to a museum Saturday before the dinner.   He knows I can't keep up, and I don't want him to miss out on things he enjoys.  He loves all museums.   I will be sitting and visiting!    Anyone want to go see the "bean" Friday early evening?    I have been getting things ready to go and I am really looking forward to meeting everyone.   Also ready to :cuddle; Sluff and Okarol again.  :2thumbsup;

That's the one. There are also three others in the Chicago area on Saturday, but this one is the biggest.

I went to Triton College in River Forest and the parts I've been to in Oak Park to seem safe. In college we use to go all around places for lunch in groups. We found one place that sold us beer and non of us where of age nor did they check our ID's. Although we all had Ford Motor Company jackets on  :rofl;

Not sure where the high school is though, I do know it's not by the horse racing track though  :rofl;

I assume you're talking about the harness track. Looks like it's about 6 blocks or so away.

My mom went to school in River Forest, and she says Oak Park is right next to it and is a good city.  She thinks the high school is just south of Concordia University.
They want me early (the latest 1pm) at dialysis, so we should be there by 6:30, and I know I'm going to be ready for dinner when I get there. :bandance; Anyone going out Friday?

I think I get paid Friday, so if there is a group who wants to go out, I am up for it.

Flip, yep that's the track I am talking about. Forgot the name of it though, Balmorial, but not sure. It's on the corner of 1st Avenue and North Avenue (64) if I remember correctly.

Well, it is almost 11pm on Wednesday.  The info sheets aren't printed.  The name tags aren't made.  Everything else is in place---but no matter how well I plan, time always runs out!   I do have lots of purple things, though!!   We want to do something Friday night, too.  We will be up for anything.   :2thumbsup;   I am ready to be in Chicago!

I may bring some of my cousins along to help liven things up. My room has two double beds which will sleep 12 hillbillies.
