Hi.  My name is Jeff and I am NOT a patient or a doctor or a nurse.  I am simply a loving, caring boyfriend to a renal patient, Angieskidney.  I have joined forums like this one to help myself learn more of her condition and life style imposed apon her because of it.  I have learned quite a bit about renal disease from her and others but I still have so many questions, that I just don't know where to begin.  But something I have learned thoughout my life for sure is that experience is always the better teacher, not necessarily the professionals.

That is for sure! How many times have I asked questions of professionals and not gotten any answers? Truth be told, they are just too busy where as patients are MORE than happy to talk!! And truthfully too!!

Hi Jeff :)

Welcome to our group. As others have said, this is a place to have questions answered, to come to for support and to feel free to rant when it is needed.  Hope to hear lots from you.
