I'm from Colona, IL - a tiny, little "don't blink" town outside of the Quad Cities area.  Don't know where that is?   Follow I-80 all the way across Illinois from Chicago to the Mississippi river and you'll find Moline, IL, Rock Island,IL, Davenport, IA and Bettendorf, IA.  Combined, there's a population of around 375,000.

Moline has been strongly associated with John Deere, inventor of the self-scouring steel plow. Deere & Co. is still headquartered in Moline and is one of our area's largest employer.  Both my husband and I were employed by John Deere as well as most of the members of both of our families.

Hi  We are from the UK  Live right by the sea in a place called Selsey Bill on the West Sussex coast of England. It's really lovely and love going for long walks along the beach, unfortunately John can't come with me anymore as he is too poorly. I wish England had a site like this as I would love to meet someone in the same position as me, to exchange notes and have a shoulder to cry on sometimes. Yvonne

Any man that has more than one wife has to have his hands full. I'd like to know how they can support everyone.

I live on a little island off the west coast of  :canadaflag;

One of the Gulf Islands? I'll be in the San Juans from the 22nd to the 30th - San Juan Island and Orcas.

I live in Seattle, in the state of Washington (the other/better Washington - the upper left corner of the country). Home of Starbucks and lots of good coffee. AND the first out of hospital dialysis center in the world, what is today the nonprofit Northwest Kidney Centers, the forth largest nonprofit dialysis provider in the country.

Seattle was the home of the first dialyzor - Clyde Shields a union mechanic for a Boeing contractor he in effect gave his body to science to see if this dialysis could work long term; he lived 11 years.

Plant City, Florida  home of the Strawberry Festival

Oh, man...when I lived in Florida from '92-'96, my favorite thing in that fershlugginer state was the Strawberry Festival.

Not Disney, not Universal, not Busch Gardens, but giant mounds of strawberry shortcake for just a couple bucks!

Heck, I even saw Billy Ray Cyrus at the height of his achy-braky days (it was a free concert and I had to sit somewhere to eat my giant, fresh strawberry shortcake...mmmm....)

Oh yeah...forgot to mention where I'm from.

Lessee...the first 19 years I lived in Oregon, then in '92-'96 I lived in Port Charlotte, Fl (most popularly known prior to the hurricane a few years ago as the county with the highest percentage of the population over the age of 65), then I moved back to Oregon from '96-2000, then I moved to Oklahoma, where I now reside in Norman, about a mile from the University of Oklahoma and home of the Sooners (and no, I'm not a fan).

Sooo...I'm an OreFlorigoniOklahoman.
