I am wantiing to take a trip by car that will take about 2 days driving.  I'm on PD and was wondering how you heat the bags when traveling by car?  Any Suggestions during the day and how about when stopping at a hotel ?

Difficult one ! All i can tell you is one day my 'heater' broke and i couldnt get to the hospital to replace it, so i filled a hot water bottle and then wrapped my fluid and hot water bottle in a towel. You can use the dialysis fluid cold but it tends to give you tummy ache , not major but you can feel it cold in your stomach. Best thing to do would be contact your PD unit and ask for advice , as other folk must travel.

I have wrapped my bags in a towel after warming and put them in an insulated cooler--the hot water bottle idea sounds good too.  In the summer I put them in the back window to warm by the sun.
