Hey Epoman. I have a CD ROM that was sent to me from DaVita from the November 2005 National Meeting in Las Vegas. I would love to get it to you if you can put clips of the bullshit on your site. I think you would enjoy the three musketeers and the grape vine. Also, look closely at the amount of alcohol that is flowing. If you can post clips on here, let me know and I will mail you the DVD.

Going through life tied to a chair!

They must have had TOO good of a time.  We didn't have any paper sheets on our chairs today.  WTF?

What? You get paper on your chair?  Must be nice.  I have to bring my own sheet in with me to use on the chair, then drag it back home again each time.

Huh, don't they supply you with one. :o We have a lady employed to put on a clean sheet after every treatment and she washes down the chair and table and makes sure it is clean for the next person. I wouldn't enjoy having paper, it would drive me nuts. I squirm enough during my 5 hours on. It would be ripped to shreds by the time I have finished.  I bring my own blanket as the units aren't thick enough. Liz :P

Our unit doe snot even have blankets.  The rule is bring your own or be freezing cold!  So I bring a sheet, a blanket, a snack, newspaper and a book everytime.  I swear I bring more stuff with me to dialysis than I do to work.  But everything I need is already at work!

My centre has sheets and blankets.  Every chair has a sheet on it when we start.  We can also request a sheet to cover with.  The only problem is that sometimes there aren't enough extra sheets.  So just yesterday I decided I would take my own sheet.  And that worked very well.  Blankets would make me too hot.
Our nurses clean the chairs and cover them with the sheets after each patient.  I guess our nurses do a lot of work.

I was going to try to get them to but a blanket warmer for those cold winter days.  Have them pop the blanket into the warmer for a few minutes. (Sigh!)  Too cheap.  I want to run a patient fundraiser and get us an ice machine put in.  But they would probably install it in the employee break room and we would never see the ice.  Oh well.

Any update on the video?

An easy option would be uploading the videos to youtube.com
