Thanks for the replies! I am now on the cycler at night. Kind of scary. I still get a lot of alarms regarding low drain amounts or something like that. But I do get to walk around empty during the day. Which, by the way is uncomfortable. Why is that?I feel alot better now though. I am currently using the 1.5 and 2.5s. 9 hours at night. 6 cycles. I was using the 4.25s just because I was gaining weight and it was only once out of the four times daily.
I did notice that when I was empty, my exit site was a little more sore. It doesn't seem to be as bad now. But I think because I am laying down while dialyzing, I'm not totally emptying. Because when I hook up the next night, I am able to drain about 200ml on the intial drain. So maybe that is helping me a bit.Only problem with that is I get a few alarms in the night because I'm not emptying everything that's going in. Putting in 2000ml and only taking out between 1700 and over. Alarm goes off. Oh well. Not too bad I guess.I have been gaining a few pounds but only been out of the hospital for a few weeks. I figured it was just not eating hospital food!
