Hi Hope (and all my NHL buds!),
 . . . sorry I've been MIA on this topic, as well as the entire IHD site.

Yes, Team Teal is indeed "tearing it up!".  Took a beating from Calgary, but BEAT Detroit  :yahoo;
(Hi Cherpep!!!) Beating Detroit made my month!  Going to The Shark Tank tomorrow night for the Sharks vs Canucks game.

Loved The Winter Classic!  I drove myself crazy, too, trying to find the player w/ the missing Reebok
logo!

I was just at the Sharks Store w/ my daughter this afternoon.  She is is getting an Alaskan Klee Kai puppy at the end of the month, and she absolutely NEEDED to buy him a Sharks collar! LOL
His middle name may become "Crankshaft" (Sharks defenseman #3 Douglas Murray's nickname).  First name will probably be Nanuq to keep w/ the Alaskan theme.

Went to a signing in Los Gatos at a memorabilia sjhop, yesterday.  Got to meet Devin Setoguchi & Ryane Clowe.  Had them sign sweaters, photos and pucks!  Took lots of pics! There was a dj, FUSE and NOS beverages, silent auction, a ton of people . . . it felt like a party!
Rumour was that several people had Roenick sightings.

I could go on forever . . . but I'll stop now . . . (yes, I am obsessed w/ my boys, The Sharks!)
Glad you're a Sharks fan, too!

Ok, let's not take it that far now, haha. I'm a Ducks fan, but have to give it up to the Sharks and their success this season  :clap;

Let's hope they don't choke in the playoffs  :beer1;

The sharks picked up Claude Lemieux?  What are they thinking?!!  He's an old nemesis of the Detroit Red Wings.  But, as much as it hurts me, I must give a nod to how well those Sharks are doing this year.  They certainly have put their dents in my Red Wing armor.  I hope they can keep it up all the way to the playoffs, then those wings will put on their real armor.  :)

What was I thinking . . . ? Silly me!  No, you couldn't be a Sharks fan AND a Ducks fan, at the same time! (??!!) LOL   That SoCal/NorCal rivalry runs deep between our 2 teams!

But, glad you're supportive of CA hockey teams in general  :cuddle;

A hockey fan is a hockey fan = AWSOME!

Rangers without a doubt, although the Red Wings are my second favorite.  They used to have an AHL affiliate in upstate NY when I was a kid and we went to a ton of games so I got to like Detroit over the years since a lot of the players got called up.  Barry Melrose was a coach there for years and won a Calder Cup, and he still has a home in the area

Just watched a great game last night.  Oh yeah, Wings up 4 to 1.  I can't remember who we played....Hmmmmmmm.... let's see..... the game was in Hockeytown (that's Detroit)..... Claude Lemieux was on the ice (you could tell by all the booooos from the crowd).... Hmmmmmmmmmm.   The opposing team spent a lot of time in the penalty box........ Could it be that we took another bite out of the SHARKS?  Yes it could be!!!

Did the Sharks peak too soon?  We'll see because the best time of the year is just around the corner.  PLAYOFFS!!!  Perhaps we'll meet those fishes on the ice again soon.

Good morning Cherpep!
I was thinking of you, last night, while watching the game! LOL  Well, no, Sharks did not win, but at least your boys didn't shut us out!

It was a good game, I'll give you that, but your boy's hit on Jumbo (Thornton) made me grimace!  Only a 2 minute penalty for that?!  Not that its your fault . . . the refs were sucky . . .

We'll see ya in the play-offs!!! :cuddle;

GO SHARKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Hockey hugs,
MRR
