Hello, Badrobot here. I have been doing the kidney dance  :bandance; (similar to the banana dance) since I was 19 in 1990. I got a transplant in 1992  :yahoo; but lost it in 2000  :banghead;.
I am usually in pretty good spirits  :rofl; but I am also bipolar  :urcrazy;:rant; Gripes may be in my future.

Welcome to IHD, you Bad Robot! I'm fairly new here myself, and just learning the :bandance; for the first time. But I've definitely had my my :urcrazy; moments as well.

And if it's ok to hit you with a question right here on the intro page, did you have any trouble getting a transplant with a bipolar diagnosis? I'm going for my big interview very soon and I'm can't shake being nervous that they will turn me down for having a mental health history. People here have been really reassuring, but I'd love to hear from someone who's actually walked that walk (or danced that dance). The thread is at http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=6368.0 --- I'd love to hear !!!Everything!!!! about your transplant interview process.

Thank you for letting me jump your intro.

First off thanks to all of you for the welcome. I really needed the cheery responses. They made my day.   :thx;

As for the bipolar question, no, I didn't have any problem what so ever. However most of my manic depression was made worse due to prednisone.
