Hello everyone at Ihatedialysis.com

I found this website several days ago and, even though I am not a dialysis patient, I have been back everyday since! I have been a CCHT for about 3 years now and I love working with dialysis patients. Ok dont get me wrong by screen name, there are days where I also hate dialysis! But those days are very out numbered by the days I enjoy it. And, generally speaking, when I don't it's not due to the patients but the machines!! :)

Thanks for letting me be a part of your lives - both in center/hospital and online!

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

Welcome to our community!  We are so glad to took the time out to join us and introduce yourself to us.  The website has been a godsend to many of us, especially to me in my first scared days.  The dream of the founder Epoman was that everyone in any way connected to this renal challenge, and even anyone not connected, would have a place where we can be frank and outspoken and help each other.  I am happy to say that even after his passing, this dream still continues.  And it is people like you who join us, who can help us to continue this.  This site is more than just a forum, it has become a real family.  If you read the postings in the family section you will see how true this is.
So continue to read, continue to post, ask questions, answer questions.  Looking forward to hearing lots more from you.   :grouphug;

Hello and  :welcomesign;.  I'm pretty new here, too, and I love it. This is such a cool place to hang out -- a great way to learn things and talk with nice people.

Forgive my ignorance (I am not a renal patient), but what exactly is a CCHT?

I am a renal patient, and I was just coming back to this thread to ask the same question.
