It's a special day!!!  Today marks the FIFTH Anniversary of my transplant!!!  And I'm STILL counting even though I've lost a kidney!!!!  Best of all, my "sister" who gave me her kidney had a SON four years after the transplant ON THIS DAY!!!!  Not only are we celebrating my life....we are celebrating the life of another SON!!!!  :-)

Lost transplant April 2005
Diagnosed with Heart Failure February 2006
Currently on Peritoneal Dialysis, awaiting to be well enough to FINALLY get placed
on the Transplant List.  :-)  I can't wait!!!!

Hey, Happy Kidney Day to you Highlite!  Each one is pretty special!  Tomorrow is number six for me and it's working fine.  We're going to a Christmas Party to celebrate...yes a Christmas party in November.  :santahat;

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
