So sad to hear of the death of singer-actor Robert Goulet. He seemed like such a nice man. Good looking, good singer, and had a real sense of humor about himself. He did a commercial where Robert Goulet is a kind of an elf who sneaks around at night making messes and leaving behind fancy mixed nuts.  He died of lung disease while awaiting a transplant. The Irony. Do we need more reminders of the lack of donors?

I know the name but can't place the face, regardless you are right, people need to sign those donor cards. Condolences to the Goulet Family.

I just heard this and it is sad.  Apparently he was dealing with recently diagnosed pulmonary fibrosis according to media reports last week.  It is sad that he wasn't able to be transplanted.  He was a great talent.

Think Broadway---Camelot. The man was brilliant on Broadway.    What is the number 17-19 people die everyday waiting for a transplant?  When will the average public get the idea that they need to donate?  Sorry--I sound a little angry---not really, just frustrated.   One of those day.

Thanks Angela--I was having a bad day.  Robert Goulet was an incredible singer and actor, but I don't know why it upset me so much.  Some days reality stinks, but thanks for understanding.

How can all these people die waiting on the transplant when I have such a hell of a time STAYING on the transplant list.  And I'm pretty stable!!!

                       :urcrazy;

Back on topic:  I will miss Robert Goulet.  Very talented man.
