Hello,
I have been lurking for a while, and just now joined what seems to be a great group.  I am a 32 year old wife to a wonderful man suffering from kidney disease.  We have a 2-1/2 year old daughter and live in sunnyvale, Ca.  My husband hasn't started dialysis yet, but is really pushing it as his doctor says.  I have just been found to be a match to donate to him.  Tomorrow we go to meet with the surgeon at Stanford.
Thank you for letting me join.

Thank you for taking the time to join ihatedialysis.com Mima,

Welcome

I hope you are a good match for your husband and I hope the transplant can happen before the dialysis begins if that is possible. Either way you have come to the best place available for information and support.

Hope to hear more about you and your husbands journey.
