Hello members,

As part of my job in being an ADMIN is to be on the lookout for suspicious activity to protect the integrity of the site. This site is helping many people and that makes me very happy. So I frequently check the LOGS to see if I notice any suspicious activity and well last night I noticed a New member signed up a few days ago and then signed up with another user name. First he signed up as "tyscn" then a few days later he signed up as "Kidneypatient" what brought "Kidneypatient" to my attention was that I noticed he/she never posted but sent out several PM's (Personal Messages) to other members. So did something that I do not do and that is I opened up my .SQL file. (A SQL file is basically a text file that holds EVERY piece of text posted on this site, posts and pm's. It is how the site remembers all of our posts) And not to my surprise I was right this members is a Spammer/Organ seller.

In several of the PM's to our members he had 2 persona's, one he is a kidney patient in South China waiting for a transplant, another time he is a Doctor offering transplant services in South China. He used a few different emails and they are as follows:

tyscn@yahoo.com - He also used this email address.

His I.P. was the same on both accounts. His I.P. which stands for Internet Protocol (is basically your computers address) is as follows:

When I emailed him politely asking him why did he have two accounts he said he had no idea, Then he emailed me again and said, sorry that he just called his wife (at almost midnight) and she created the "tyscn" account for him. I never let him know I knew the truth. I told him "ok that's fine, and welcome to the board." 

I want him to see this post so I am not totally banning him (YET!) I am just going to stop him from posting. I will ban him after I know he reads this. You may ask yourself well can't he just use another computer? Well yes but the great thing is if I see someone else with a similar IP, I will ban the ENTIRE IP range. 221.x.x.x.xxx.xxx.xxx It's like a wild card. Will it affect innocent people? Yes it will affect a few million Asians in Asia. However that is the chance I am willing to take to protect our site. Besides we get VERY little traffic from Asia and we currently don't have any members from Asia. So If I have to, I will do what ever it takes to keep this site safe for you. I truly value our members.

I'm going to ask all members to please report ANY PM's like this to me immediately. NO ONE DID.  Why? also I guess I will have to create some forum rules now, I didn't want to have a rules post (well besides Spell checking) but I guess I will have no choice. And one of those rules is NO member may have more than 1 account. So in closing please disregard any PM's you receive asking you to go to South China or to be his friend because he is a fellow patient, he is not neither, he is a loser.

Other dialysis message boards have gone offline because of abuse like this, I won't let that happen here.

Hi everyone, sorry it has been a long time since responding to anyone, I read with interest and appreciation the banning or "this Jackass". it is comforting to know that some one in power can protect the large # of us who are not really watching what we read and some have been known in my country to be lead down paths that lead to death by surgery in Asian pig pen hospitals with undertrained/not trained doctors, multiple post operative complications are common, however, I am assured by my own research that there are also genuinely good hospitals in some Asian countries.

However, living in Aussie is a great comfort to those of us who are lucky enough to live here. Free medical, drug prices controlled by the federal government, and transplant teams second to non (equal to many!!! 

My latest news: Wednesday (tomorrow down here) I will be having an assessment for an angiogram
(pre-transplant work up), Friday my sister (new donor) and I will be seeing the transplant team to see what they have planned for us, hopefully my transplant is close!!

we wait with great anxiety, I have lost 11 kilos of ugly fat and hope that will be enough however, I expect that they will want another 10 off!!

all the best to you all, and "I do hate dialysis" but it is better than the alternative! :-)

Firstly I do hate spam but I think Epoman is too vigilant. And in some extent it seems a little ignorant.
From what Epoman wrote we can easily feel his exaltation. But I have to mention one point. In your post you said it is almost impossible to call his wife midnight. But just from this point it betrays you. As I am doing business worldwide. I want to remind you of time difference. When our time is midnight his time is daylight for China is in the east(From your post IP address it can be easily get to know he comes from China). Therefore it is reasonable for him to call his wife.
As for 2 Ids I am not sure why he just himself registered 2 as you said. Or his wife did this for him. Only god know.
But one thing I am sure and everyone should get to know is that he wants to locate donor for you guys who are willing to do transplant. Just from this point he did the same thing as you Epoman did. You use “I hate dialysis” forum and he uses his words or posts to help renal disease patients. Why you adopt two criteria to treat you yourself and others? You should ban yourself as well on the condition than you ban him.Just because you are administrator or moderator? It is not fair.
Just as Peter wrote in his posts it does exist some good hospitals in Asia. I am sure it includes China. As I know China is the second largest country engaged in organ transplant in this world. Which shows that there are really some genuine or good hospitals in China I think. The problem is that how you can distinguish the right one or ones from others. If this guy can locate the donor just as he wrote in his PM posted by Epoman I can not understand why you ban him. If you are in waiting line for 8 years or more and you still do not know how many years you have to wait I do not think you still think his messages are spamming.

Here I would like to give you a real story just from my consciousness. My own uncle suffers End Stage Renal Disease combined with hypertension,35 years diabetes and heat disease etc. He stayed in waiting line for 5 years desperately and before transplant in China there are still more than 50 persons list in front of him. God know when he can get his gift. I here give a brief story about his transplant and I think you can change your attitude to those so－called spammers.
I am engaged in my own international trade business. I do have some Chinese friends and they treat me quite well. I arrange almost everything for my uncle.
1.   I entrust my Chinese friend to search right hospital and experts for us.
2.   I faxed all files and test and lab reports to the doctors according to their demand and at the same time I push my friend to keep close contact with doctors.
3.   about 1 month we were informed to come to China for the surgery and donor found.
4.   Then my uncle accompanied by my aunt and I flied to Shanghai China and met by my friend.
5.   4 days later surgery had been successfully completed in no more than 3 hours.
6.   2 weeks later my uncle came back to USA and now cared by his form nephrology doctor.
I remember clearly my uncle almost can walk by himself before surger. Now he can do everything by himself and let alone walk.
I do appreciate what my friends and Chinese doctors did for my uncle. As I know till now at least 2 fellow patients of my uncle have been introduced to this hospital and all of them now have there new lives in US.
One more time I have to emphasize. I hate spamming just you guys hate dialysis. Hope you guy get your recovery soon.

I will not allow members to verbally attack other members. "kidneycradle" was indeed the original spammer I mentioned in the original post. I now have banned his 3 member names and accounts. We will see how it goes from here on out, I may have to set up the site so an ADMIN approves all new members before they can post. I hate to have to do that, but it might come down to that.
