The other evening I hooked up to my Baxter as usual and sometime after
midnight the alarm came on saying something like "check patient position".
I've had it a yr. and this is a new one.  I kept checking the lines and checking
my clamps and everything and never found anything wrong.  I'd start it back
up and the alarm would start up again.  After several tries I unhooked and turned
it off.  It was trying to do a fill and only got up to 41 in all that time.  I wonder if
I had a defective cassette.  Last night was ok.

Never seen that message before. It sounds as you say like a faulty cassette. Maybe the tiny hole in the fill compartment hadn't been punched through properly.Have you ever  noticed also that some cassettes are noisier than others?
