I recently read on a yahoo group for people with PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) that the person writing had just received a kidney transplant from a living donor whom they did not know.  The note said the donor explains his reasons for donating the kidney and details his experience in going through the process on the following website: giveakidney.net .  It is an inspiring story and well worth reading.  The story is written in a diary format so go to the earliest date and read from back to front.
