Growing up I loved blue, dark blue, light blue, didn't matter, blue just made me happy. I like blue eyes and blue gems.
But now I also like purple and green too! Purple is passion and green is everywhere in nature!

Gosh, okarol! That post could have come directly from me! I love blue, always have. I don't know the reason why. When I was little (around 6 or 7) it was just light blue. Now it's all shades of blue.

As a teenager I wore nothing but black (hey, I'm a metal chick after all) but blue remains my favourite.

I have no reason, but I just love purple, lilac, lavender - all the hues in that colour scheme.  Once when I started to buy my own clothes, I had to restrain myself from buying purple or lilac stuff.  And for each of her birthdays, I used to dress my daughter in lilac from the time she celebrated her first birthday, and now that is her favourite colour as well. Her bedroom colour scheme is purple/lilac.  My grandson Christopher already has his 'favourite colour' and it is blue.  But that is mainly a 'macho' thing.  Blue is for boys, he says.

Red and I don't know why, it just is.  I've been wanting a Prius for a while and saw a red one on the freeway yesterday.  Just seeing that car in that particular shade of red made me want it.

Wow, I'm amazed at purple's popularity. I think it's a great colour too, but didn't realise it was so popular.

Blue is still my fav, though.

My favorite colors are yellow and purple, they look so pretty when they are put together in a vase of flowers with tulips in them.  My favorite flowers are tulips.  What is everyone else's favorite flower?  Oh, one more thing, I do like flowers but I do not really care for the SMELL of flowers, the smells remind me of a funeral home too much; however, I do think it would be horrible if I went to a funeral and that person did not have a single flower around them?   What are your thoughts on a funeral with NO flowers?   Has anyone experienced that?

Favourite flower - that's a tough question. Oriental lillies and magnolias are beautiful.

I do like the smell of flowers. And I can't imagine a funeral without them.

Teal is definately my color, it reminds me of the ocean in Montauk Long Island NY, and the far south Jersey Shore, it also looks like the water in the Caribbean and certain parts of the Hawaiian Islands.

Turquiose and teal are my favorites for the same reasons as skillpete - the ocean off Long Island, the Jersey Shore and yes the Caribbean.  I also like a soft coral too - not too bright.  But I like ALL colors even browns and khaki.
