Sorry about not posting often. I Just had a new baby girl in April! She's Beautiful, but a handful, You can see pics on my myspace page my screen name for myspace is 79jaybird. ANYWAY!!!!! Thats big news but I have bigger news. My mom finally got her test results back for a donor, and SHE passsssssed! AND I have a date for a kidney Transplant. I'm waiting until August 10th, because I am in school right now and the semester is over then. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. WISH ME LUCK. I've been reading other pre-transplant posts and I agree, I'm excited, but I'm FREAKIN scared too! Oh well, its what I asked for. Good luck to all, and Happy upcoming fathers day to the Big pappa's out there! -Jaybird

Thanks for the support. I'm just taking it day by day right now. I started to go back to school this semester for my teaching degree. But I'm gonna have to take off next semester for the DAMN TRANSPLANT! Gotta do what I gotta do I guess... I'll be checking in periodically. Jaybird

Congrats!! Nice to get some really good news. Teaching is a good choice for many reasons, not the least of which is because most people in education have access to insurance with helps with the cost of the anti-rejection meds when Medicare quits paying. Wonder what will happen to your NxStage when you don't need it any more?

They are coming to take my nxstage and all the supplies MY INSURANCE paid for..... free crap for davita right? hehe
I'm keepin the gauze and alcohol and tape and whatnot, they can have the other crap, god riddance!
