I have a timer hooked up to my sprinkler for watering the grass.  I bought it last year and used it.  This year I turn it on and water squirts everywhere.  When I dissected it i noticed a crack in the plastic.  Does anyone have a suggestions about how to fix it.  What kind of sealant should I buy, super glue didnt work.  My next idea was duct tape.  LOL   I spent like $40 on the thing so I dont want to buy a new one.  Thanks.  ???

Might be able to use something like JB weld water weld for something like that.  It can be used on plastic pipes so it might work on that.

I would just go to my local hardware store with the item and ask what they would recommend.

Yup, JB Weld or some kind of epoxy glue.

Where is the best place to get it?  Can you find it at Walmart?

You never want to use superglue on plastic.  Superglue actually deteriorates plastic.  An epoxy, JB Weld or other plastic friendly adhesive would work fine.  You can go to your local hardware store (ace, home depot, menards...) and pick them up.  It will say on the package what materials it can be used on (wood, metal, plastic...).

When you get your Epoxy get the crystal clear. It comes in a set of two tubes & you squirt equal amounts on a piece of aluminum foil & mix with a toothpick & apply with the same.

If you get the clear you can repair many different things with it & repairs are practically invisible.

Clear Epoxy is what they use to put those little crystal figurines & animals together that you see in gift shop glass cases.

Gorilla glue is great, but if you use too much it bulges out of the repair while it dries & you have to sand it down.  I repair wooden things with Gorilla glue. It tends to dry rock hard in the bottle so doesn't keep very long.

Epoxy keeps in tubes for years.

Your best chance of getting the clear is Lowes or Home Depot or any large well stocked hardware store.
