Right guys need your help , not totally stuck for what to say , but give me your imput on this .I belong to a site for Bikers who in June are running a organ donor awareness scheme and giving out stickers for helmets , saying that this person is a donor etc. So i wrote to thank them for doing this and wished them luck with it. I have got an email back asking me if i can attend , which sadly i cant but ALSO would i like to give them a few words about the organ donor scheme from my perspective. I know i am in the UK but organ donation is organ donation , so i would like to give them a good reply ..help me please with this and i will take the best comments and pass them on . :2thumbsup;

Probably not from your perspective, but what about something that points out that being a donor doesn't slow the donar down. It seems like fear of lifestyle changes might be a reason people won't donate. The bikers are out there showing the world that their lives continue with the same gusto after the donation.

Going through life tied to a chair!

Usually an organ donor who is a biker doesn't keep going.  They are dead!  I think the bikers are saying they have signed their organ donor card so that if they are in an accident they are to be considered donors.  Very honorable of them.

I would write back and say.  "On the behalf of 80,000 people waiting..... we thank you!"

oops! Silly me! I was thinking about living donors.

I don't know anything about bikers except that they seem to have a "tough" reputation on tv shows. If there's any truth to that, how about "you're tough enough to ride, are you tough enough to donate?"

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but you say something like.   "Ride Hard, have fun. Ride together, Donate so that others may ride too."    Adjel

"Before you go on your next trip, sign your donor card, You never know!"

I would tell them thank you from all of us!
