If you weren't vegetarian, I would tell you that you HAVE to try it.  There is this French restaurant over here 'Le Cabanon' that has it as an appetizer!  Absolutely great!   Whenever I go to St.Martin (French island) I must have some (it's cheaper there).  They do it with garlic and parsley.  Just scrumptious!!!

Do you find it takes the average westerner a while to get past the "yuck" factor before they will try it? I'm trying to be open-minded about it myself, but all I can do is shudder at the thought of eating what is, effectively, snails!!
