I have noticed over the past few years being on PD that the bills from Davita they charge 2600$ a day for me to do my own dialysis?? Do any of you know about this?

What they bill and what they get paid are two different things.
Private insurance negotiates its own rates, and Medicare rates hover around $300. My understanding is that the home reimbursement rate is designed to match the in-center 3x/week fee.
If you are in the US and have been on D for a few years (>30 months) you are probably on Medicare and having something more like $1000/week paid for your treatment.
