i am awesome.

« on: May 01, 2007, 07:22:17 AM »

My aunt lived in Arkansas, and has been fighting colon cancer for awhile... she was put in the hospital March 1, and been there since... she passed away last night during the night.

I'm worried about my mom... her favorite sister... they were so close... and my mom got the call last night... she is all by herself in NY.. b/c shes out of town on business. Her job is trying to get her a flight home today... I just wish she was home when she got the call, to be with her family for support and not have to go thought this by herself so far away...

Well, at least my aunt is no longer in pain.. and shes home with God.

My uncle is trying to get a ride to our house, (he lives 4 hours away), my dad is working on getting time off from work for him and my brother. My other brother who lives in Wisconsin is trying to get off work and come down here, then we will drive to Arkansas for the funeral.

Thanks for listening.  :grouphug;

Oh man, Angela. That's very hard to take. On the one hand you're glad your aunt is not suffering any more. But on the other hand, now your mother is gonna be so devastated.
I'll be thinking and praying for you, that you will al be together for each other.  :grouphug;

Angela, so sorry for you and your familiy's loss.  Too bad your mom was so far away when she got the bad news.  Know you will be a great source of strength for her.  Hope your other family members are able to take time off work without any problems.  Take care and have a safe, though sad, trip.    :grouphug;

I'm sorry for your loss Angela515. I hope the rest of your family can accept this loss as well as you seem to have accepted. It's never easy to accept loss in the beginning but in time God will reveal his glorious gift of the after life, life in his kingdom.
