Ihatedialysis.com Holiday Gift Exchange Information- Forums Only

An invitation to participate in Ihatedialysis.com Forums Holiday Gift Exchange.

Cassandra will be in charge this year.

The rules:
Send your information to Cassandra by November 23, 2017.
Names and addresses will be sent through Facebook message by November 24th.
Send your gift out by December 1st or earlier of it is going overseas.
Gifts are to be $10.00 to $20.00 in value.
Please take some time and send a well-chosen gift.
You can participate in both the Facebook and forums exchange. You will need to sign up for each separately.
If you do not send a holiday gift, you will be banned for 90 days from the ihatedialysis.com Forums site.

O.K., O.K.   I admit that I am a 'Guy' and as such MIGHT sometimes be easily confused.   So I gotta ask questions to make sure I understand things.

P.M. Cass with details.   O.K., Check

Facebook?   ALSO having a separate Gift Exchange?    Me thinks I need to start READING the FB posts instead of scrolling past them so quickly.

We are being NOTIFIED of our Secret Santa Person by Facebook instead of P.M. this year?       Most of this that may be fine, but there could easily be Members to do not Facebook, or, like myself, can often go for days, many many days, before checking FB and by then that particular post could be so far down that I don't even get there.

I suggest any Member that has a problem with FB please leave a note here so we can figure out a better method for that Member.

Not to worry Charlie Facebook Secret Santa is completely separate from THE SITE IHD Secret Santa.
I do have to start a thread with likes and don't likes for our Secret Santas though. So we can start shopping

My concern(s) are;

1  I am slower than frozen Molasses.

2  Notified of our person Nov 24 and needs to be mailed Dec 1 isn't a lot of time.

3   I am a Guy, don't shop hardly, more like seldom EVER.

4   As a Guy we haven't much of a clule when it comes to gifts.

Can I get a huge Hint?

And a kick in the ........

Anyone who is late getting their gifts out will have a huge kick in the pants from Cassandra and me as the admin.  I have already rounded up my gifts and they are sitting out to go into boxes.   Mine will be out as soon as I get to the post office after the 24th when we get the names and addresses.

The Facebook gift exchange is a separate list from the forums list so you only have to worry about the forums list if that is all you posted your information to.  Cassandra does forums. I am doing Facebook.  SEPARATE LISTS!  Separate exchanges.

Gift boxes from Dougal and I sent our gift boxes in the post on Thursday morning!...

Stay out until Christmas... Gifts are not wrapped inside!...

P.S.... As there are Secret Santa exchanges happening on both Forums and FB, may I suggest that senders mark the packages with 'IHD Forum SS', please...  Removes the confusion where members are participating in both, makes it easier to report when a gift arrives!.....

LOL  I had to 'Search' to find this thread cause my memory sucks big time.

I think I already posted that I did mail my package over a week ago.

Yesterday I received my package from Ireland.  It has a note on it that Santa is watching so I cannot open it until Christmas or I may be on his Naughty list next year.

My package has been sent out, but due to the postal strike, there is a bit of a backlog that they don't think will be cleared by Christmas.  Know that it is coming, just unsure of when.

I will say that I received my gift yesterday, which shocked the stuffing out of me
