I have one of those vein bumps in my leg too. They are caused by HPB and can develop into varicose veins. My doc told me the best way to prevent them is to keep my blood pressure down and exercise. You can only feel mine now, but apparently it's not too difficult to remove it if it gets worse.
SusieOmygosh girl, hope you are feeling better... Did they tell you to put heat on it and to keep your leg elevated? Maybe I need to send you some homemade goodies to make you feel better.. Take care of yourselfKat

So glad you got that sorted out. I used to have problems with DVT. I am glad they found yours in a superficial vein. Lots of love to my Goofynina
Tease!
Just updating you that the lump is almost gone, but not quite, i think the doc is going to give me another weeks of antibiotics
Ya gotta wonder, after we are on dialysis, do we REALLY need to be as careful about potential damage to our kidneys??? Back to the topic...I sure am glad that lump is getting smaller, Nina!! That is very good news!!
