Willow - First of all I do not consider the Washington Post Conservative anymore.  There is NO argument that tax payer money was use to sway voters in Israel.   Now, maybe OneVoice used it to train activists.  The point is Obama used Tax payer dollars that could have been used to feed our hungry poor people as the left is so concerned about to influence an election.

Says the person who admits to using Fox "News" as the primary news source. When you peruse 8-10 national and international news outlets across a range of perspectives, you can talk to me about broadening horizons. I will freely admit that MOST (but not all) of my news leans left. On the other hand, I also like to keep my finger on the pulse of what conservatives are reading. I do not get any news from TV, though. I find it is way too slanted and tends to utilize emotionally laden catch-phrases to grab the listener and push a particular agenda. I prefer a slower pace for my information so I can digest and analyze at my leisure.

While you may not consider the Washington Times right-leaning, Rerun, analysts do. On the other hand, the Washington Post is definitely left leaning.

Par for the course, Fox "News" doesn't concern itself with verifying sources up front. Now that folks accept this false reporting, they can post a retraction. The damage is done. The gullible were taken in. And it no longer matters whether they were reporting falsehoods and concoctions. That is not what people will remember.

This kind of tactic has been used over and over with this particular "news" outlet. The bigger the lie, the more damage it can do, and the more likely the sheep will be to accept it.

Fox is NOT about telling the truth and dispensing information. It is all about sensationalizing and ratings.

After Comey's Testimony...   Each side has differences of what was said.

CBS:  Trump is a liar and approached obstruction of justice.

FOX:  Trump vindicated.

I listened to the whole thing.  This is what I understood.  Again, you hear what you want to hear.

Comey admitted on National TV in front of God and everyone, that he leaked classified information to the press through a good friend.  WTF

Comey admitted that Loretta Lynch obstructed justice by asking him to label what Hillary did as a "matter" not an investigation.

I like Comey.  I think he is a very intelligent but quiet man.  That is why he didn't say anything to Donald.  Trump wants what he wants and is going to go right to the person.  Trump thought Flynn had suffered enough by getting fired.  Flynn has put in 35 years as a predominant Public Servant.  Anyway....

Trump had nothing to do with Russia and the election.  I guess Russia has tried to break into our election process for years and will try again.  It did not change the results.  Trump Won.

The CNN/Fox slant difference is consistent and predictable.  Which is slanted and which is objective depends on which side you are on.

Remember the two fugitives in GA who a homeowner caught and held at gunpoint with an AR15?   Before I even visited the news sites, I knew CNN would bury that little tidbit and Foxnews would make it the headline of the article.  Sure enough, I was right.  Both articles were consistent in the facts, but the presentation of each was slanted to serve the orgs public policy agenda.

He did not pay taxes on it that is one of the biggest points the point of the indictment and probably one of the easiest to prove.

Remember Manafort is 68 and attended meetings with the Russians.  If he does not want to die in prison he better tell Mueller what happened.  My guess is Trump will pardon Manafort to keep him quiet.  Only problem is the Attorney General of New York has joined with Mueller in his investigation.  Trump can’t pardon for state crimes, New York can put Manafort in prison.

Simon Dog, don't allow yourself to be distracted by this Uranium business.  You're falling for Trump's tactics.  His campaign manager has been indicted for CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE UNITED STATES.  Hillary Clinton has been indicted for NOTHING.  She is not the President of the United States.  The campaign manager for Hillary Clinton is NOT being indicted for CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE UNITED STATES.  No, that's PAUL MANAFORT, CAMPAIGN MANAGER FOR DONALD TRUMP, INDICTED FOR CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE UNITED STATES.

This is more that "sleaze", and the constant argument of "well, there's sleaze on both sides" won't cut it in Federal Court.

The committee that approved the sale is headed by the treasury secretary.  While the Secretary of State has a seat on the committee Clinton sent a lower level to sit in on the discussion and did not participate.  Trump is going to keep flogging the crooked Hilary horse to cover up the absolute violations of his campaign in dealing with a hostile foreign power.  Hopefully Manafort will be the start of these goons being sent to Federal or state prisons.  Trump campaigned on draining the swamp, instead of a swamp he’s turning the government into a guagmire.

Agencies have a tendency to issue rulings and decisions that they think will curry favor with the boss.   It's like a Mayor accepting a huge campaign donation from a developer, and his same party city planner subsequently approving that new shopping center to replace a farm.   Everyone gets to say "no connection", "decision was made only with the good of the community in mind", etc. but there is no escaping the apparent conflict of interest.

As yourself this .... did the massive donations to the Clinton foundation from various entities needing favorable decisions from the US govt continue after Hillary lost the election or did they taper off?  That will tell you if they were "unrelated" or an attempt to garner favor.

If the committee was headed by treasury secretary and includes 11 other secretaries is going to be influenced by a state department under secretary you could have a point.  The real power belonged to the treasury department.  This is just more mud slinging by the presidunce in a attempt to take the focus of the word collusion.  Trump has a history of character Assassination.  Strange since he has no Character.
