The issue of Rockwell Medical has been discussed with regard to aluminum contamination and their shoddy -- say criminal manufacturing processes.

Likewise, the issue of their active attempt to penetrate the CKD marketplace with vitamin D (Calcitriol), an ESA (e.g., Epogen), and iron supplement are known.

Their iron supplement received an FDA advisory panel approval by a vote of 8-3 this week but not without serious issues and controversy.

Here's a link to a news report on the situation.

I researched the whole mess months ago and put my own warnings on this board. Rockwell has in effect poisoned my wife with aluminum and now they want to fill her with their new iron medication .  Instead of ironman movies we should have aluminum-iron alloy woman movies. I wont let that new drug anywhere near my wife if it is approved. Rockwell is bad news.

I have no intention of being a guinea pig for any of their products.  It will require careful monitoring of any drugs given by the clinic.
