Frank is having seizures.

I have just completed 36 of the scariest hours of my life. Yesterday morning at about 6 am my phone rings and it's one of Frank's dialysis nurses. She asks if Frank is running late for dialysis and if he's on his way. He normally arrives at dialysis at 5:30 am. I check to see if maybe he fell back asleep on the couch. Nope. She proceeds to tell me she doesnt want to alarm me, but several patients were arriving at the center reporting an accident that they drove by and that one of the trucks involved looked like Frank's. So by this time I'm freaking out. He had what we later discovered was some type of seizure and failed to negotiate a curve, striking a truck in the opposite lane. The airbag deployed, breaking his nose but mercifully neither he nor the other driver was seriously injured. He had 2 more small seizures in the ER and they admitted him. He's now on anticonvulsants which seem to be working. He is no longer allowed to drive under state law. I'm so grateful he's ok, but also a bit devastated at the loss of our truck which we've had for only 3 months. The truck is a total loss. I'm also worried about a lawsuit from the other motorist. I started searching for seizures and dialysis, and have discovered that unfortunately having seizures on dialysis is not altogether uncommon. Lord, please help him and all of us in our struggles with ESRD.

Hopefully his recovery is quick and the insurance doesn't drag its feet on your truck
