Cycler or Manuals for Thanksgiving Trip

I am going to Florida to visit my daughters for Thanksgiving. I can't figure out if the cycler or manuals would make more sense. Each seem to have their own drawbacks. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

How long are you going for? What do You think is easiest, and is there space for the cycler there?

Hi Cass. 4 to 5 days. I am not sure as to the set up there. She recently moved to a new 1 bedroom condo. She said I can use the bedroom. I guess I can use the cycler and just take drain bags instead of drain lines. In thinking about it, it seems it would disrupt our holidays for me to do exchanges throughout the day. I am going to take the cycler and give it a go. Just will have to pack up a bunch of stuff to take with me. I am gonna do like the Nike ad and Just Do It.

I don't know the distance you have to travel to get to your daughter's but I have traveled to and from Texas & Wisconsin a lot of times.  We packed  the Dialysis things last,  so they are the first things to go into the room.  I just left any "garbage" in one of the boxes in the room, the staff will take care of it.

When I traveled on PD, I always took my cycler and had fluid shipped to my destination. I had to take all the miscellaneous supplies, and I did use drain bags and just dumped them in the tub in the morning. I carried my cycler with me, never checked it, and boarded early so I could put it away in the overhead. Have a great trip!

Thanks Joe. Thats my plan except I will haul my solutions as well. Its only 4 or 5 days worth and my son will be traveling with me so I have a strong back to help with loading and unloading. I drive a mid sized SUV so space will not be a problem.

I had mine shipped when I flew, but did take them in the truck with me when I drove. Have a great trip!
