Reposting my info from last year... With an important change... My darling mum has 'moved on', and I'm no longer a carer...  :(

Dougal the Dog is taking Mum's place this year... Mum loved IHD SS, so he's raised a paw to volunteer!...

So here goes....

First 'Dougal' the Dog....

Well... He's a dog!... What can I say???... I'll try.... I have asked him... His reply???... Take the dog biscuit I offered, turn his furry butt to me, lies down, and goes to sleep... Think I'll have to do this for him!...  Here goes....

My favourite colour is: Who cares???...  :rofl;

My favourite animal is:  Other doggies... Lots and lots of other doggies!!!!....

My favourite food is: I'll eat anything that doesn't eat me first!... It has been said that I'd eat the butt off a low-flying duck!...

Clothing wise I wear a size: I probably shouldn't tell this!... May end up dressed as a Christmas Pudding!... I'm a smallish dog... I weigh eleven kilos...

I collect: Adoring Humans, Squeaky Toys... LOVE fabric toys... Vinyl ones, meh!... Like blingy collars (the women LOVE them), and I get lots of attention from my favourite kind of human... Blonde women... Yes, despite being neutered, I'm still a man!... :rofl; ... I wear a harness for Walkies... Don't want to slip my collar and get into difficulty... So my lead (I LOVE ectending leads!) attatched to my harness!...

My favourite genre of book and/or film is: 'How to train your human in five easy steps!'....

I'm allergic to:  Nothing, and I don't really care if you are... So what if there's dog hair on the couch???... It's not called 'Fur'niture for nothing, you know!...

I'm not ungrateful but if I were to receive this/these I would probably cry: A person who don't like dogs!...

Now me...

1.) What is your favorite dessert?...Ice cream, Cookies, Cheesecake... (LOTS of cheesecake and fruit!!!!!).... I LOVE Strawberry licquorice, Aniseed flavoured anything... Strong mints, in fact strong flavoured ANYTHING!....

2.) What are some of your favorite hobbies?... Volunteering, Reading, (LOVE True Crime, and humour!), Listening to music, particularly Ronan Tynan, Love Star Trek, and Star Trek, The next Generation (Oh I fancy Jean-Luc Picard... I'd stir HIS Earl Grey, anytime!), and I absolutely love the first trilogy of Star Wars films... LOVE Darthvadar... He's not a bad lad, really... Just got into bad company!... Well, if his mother's Irish, that's what she'll say anyway!!!... Am a bit of a TV fan... Favourite shows, Mythbusters, Deadliest Catch, and news programmes... Am into Community Development, so am on a lot of local representative bodies,  Policing, Public Transport, Disability Interest, Carers support, etc...

3.) What colors do you like?... Like green, yellow, purple, blue... I HATE pink with a passion!!!!!!.... YUCK!!!!... Mum used to dress me like a flipping Christmas Tree in pink when I was a kid... Pink shoes, and hair ribbons the size of a small house... Remember the bows Shirley Temple had???... You get the picture!... Honestly, she should have just thrown the set of Fairy Lights onto me, plugged it in, and had done with it!!!....  Now I won't even wear pink foundation garments... Nightmare... Pink is Satan's own creation!!.... Traumatised???... You bet I am!...

4.) What is your favourite candy?...  Any strong flavours, fruit, clove, aniseed, mint, liquorice, etc.... LOVE chocolate, but having a nut allergy, there aren't many types of chocolate I can eat (Check the pack for allergy advice!)... Marshmallows...

5.) Do you collect anything?... Elephants... Particularly ornaments, but just about everything elephant.. If it has tusks and a trunk, I love it... Wrinkles, Cardiologists, Respiratory Specialists, Orthopaedic Surgeons, etc... Get the picture???... If I was a horse, they'd shoot me!....  :rofl;

6.) What is your style?... Conservative, but love sparkly brooches and pins...

7.) Allergic to anything?... NUTS!!!... Severe allergy... There are about twenty Anapen (adreneline) injections dotted around the house!...

8.) If t-shirt or sweatshirt is ok - give size:... Sweatshirt please... Extra Large, please... Love my comfort!... I would also love IHD stuff!....

9.) Would you like a local item from your SS's home town?... Yes please (Particularly if that 'item' is male, tall, dark, handsome, rich, available, with one foot in the grave, and the other one on a bar of soap!)... ... No???.. Oh well, no harm in trying, and a girl can dream!... If I'm on  the shelf for much longer, besides needing a Dust Sheet, my butt will have woodworm!!.... Bring it on!....

10.) Anything else your SS should know?... Powered Wheelchair user, Former carer to my darling mum... Missing her even more writing this!... Love nice smelly stuff... Wary of candles (scared of fire!)... Picture frames are nice, too... Like Christmas ornaments... Owner to the little hooligan, otherwise known as a little dog called Dougal... Great little chap (Much as I hate to admit it!)... Write a lot of letters, so nice pens are popular... Dreadful memory due to high doses of steroids, so diaries and calendars are great... Like mirrors too... In fact, I know I'll love anything given with a loving heart (apart from nuts, that is)... I'll take a gift of a Snickers bar as a murder attempt!... Mum would  have taken it as assistance and would probably have shared the Life Assurance payout!....

Oooooh Boy... We're getting SO excited about this already!!!!!...

Love to all...

'Dougal' and Darth...

My gift is posted and hubby's will be put in the mail early next week.  :christmastree; :rudolph;  Only problem is my gift has to travel a long way.  In order to send it and have a tracking number it would have cost me $65 postage -way more than the gifts!!  I couldn't afford that so I sent it the cheapest-still cost $18 and hoping it will get there in time for Christmas.  If not it will be a nice surprise in the new year!!

Dougal's gift to his person, and my gift to my person are going into the post this morning....

Late because of the 'wonderful' year I've had... Marvellous it's been, NOT!... Went a bit crazy, and WAY over the suggested budget, but both of these people have been really supportive of Mum and I over the years while dealing with their own trials and tribulations, so they deserve a few treats!....

Love to all...

Darth....

P.S...... Don't open the boxes, Peeps... Gifts aren't wrapped!....
