I thought I'd better get my bye-byes in before I'm chucked off the site by Admim kitkatz. She has now issued me with a second warning. I guess that's 2 out of three. So before I'm given the heave-ho, I'd like to thank you all for the love, help and kindness you have shown me over the last seven years. Without you, I wouldn't be here to day. If I have given a little in return, I am happy.

If you are wondering what all the kerfuffle is about, may I refer you to the 'summer time' thread and the use of other than the English language therein. The following is my final post in that thread : 'Just read your admonishments and warnings, kitkatz. I am amazed at your belligerent attitude towards what was clearly quite a bit of harmonious fun. By the way, I don't speak any language other than English. So I am now on a "2nd warning"! What, one more infraction and I'm to be kicked off the site? So be it. I'll now say 'goodbye' to all my friends here, as I'm bound to upset you again, kitkatz. I'm glad that you enjoy exercising your administerial role so much.'

I guess it's not my place to understand.  But I posted my thoughts that postings in other languages WITH translation could be a good thing as the site could be extended to those in other countries that do not otherwise have the benefit of sharing the knowledge that we are so free to share here.

It could be a pile of work for Admin to set up forums, I've no idea what's involved.  But if it extended the site to so many more people on dialysis then I'd be willing to bet that if Epoman was still alive, he would be all for it.

I don't know any language other than English.  And I can screw that up well enough.  But those that do, and are willing to monitor a forum and repost translation of any foriegn posting, maybe you should sent kitkatz a note and volunteer.

Please don’t go galvo!!!!

I agree with you, that our little playful banter was really meant as a bit of harmless fun
and clearly our sort of fun is not everyone’s "cup of tea"…
...All we can do is accepting it...  please think it over and please don’t go!

Kind regards from Kristina.

Galvo, don't leave.  Kit is just trying to make this site so others in the future can read it after you and I are long gone.  Just buck up and take the high road.  Stay, we like you.

Like Rerun said--please don't leave Galvo! I feel sad when there's some upsettedness on the forums and someone who contributes a lot leaves. Especially since I think this is more a misunderstanding than anything else.

Discussing an admin's decisions on the forum is not a good idea.  PM me to further discuss this issue Galvo.

I am locking this thread.
