About 10 years ago I had a Venus Ocular Occlusion basically a blood vessel ruptured in my left eye.  I lost the upper left quadrant of vision in that eye.  Out of curiosity I looked up the condition on the internet. On a reputable site I found the following as a the first sentence. "90% of the people with this condition are dead in one year."  Now I had a weak blood vessel in one eye and I was a member of the lucky 10%.  But I had some bad moments till I figured that out.

Yes, with all the spammers, phishers, and hackers,the internet can overwhelm one quite readily.   >:D    :shy;     :Kit n Stik;

On the brighter side though, the whole universe is opened up for one so interested.

I've been spammed and hacked, but do manage to overcome and survive.   :Kit n Stik;

Even 'ihatedialysis' is on the internet, yes!    :bandance;

My blog while boring in some or (ha) many respects, offers many of my actual life experiences, is on the internet.    :oops;    :cheer:

Yes, can easily become data overload.    :boxing;

I welcome it (internet) and use what commonsense I have left, and cherry pick the rest.    :bow;     ::)

Be Well

"Wabi-sabi nurtures the authentic by acknowledging three simple realities: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect."

Don't ever give up hope, expect a miracle, pray as if you were going to die the next moment in time, but live life as if you were going to live forever."

A wise man once said, "Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present."
