I've been on hemodialysis for about 9 months now, and I've noticed a huge drop in my BG readings...I am getting readings of 67 and such.  Before dialysis, I would have been passed out or at least have gone through the classic low BG signs: shaking, sweating, feeling faint, blurry vision, etc.  But I get these readings now and I never go through any of the other symptoms of low BG.  Does dialysis screw up your monitoring?  My last A1C was 4.7, the one prior was a 5.something.   I don't feel these are accurate readings at all.   My doctors are idiots.  I'm going back to my old endochrinologist next month, she always took very great care of me.  But meantime, this is worrying me.  How is a person on dialysis supposed to properly monitor their BG? ???
