So just about everyday I go to the inpatient/outpatient clinic for labs, to see physicians/NPs to get checked out. It is in the cancer center were people are getting chemo/bone marrow transplants and recovering for that. Everyone is required to wear masks, each patient gets their own curtained off area/room. Some patients are nuetropenic, everyone is immuno compromised.
There are two patient only bathrooms. Each one is large like you would find in a hospital room, toilet, sink, shower, a little bench. Obviously they are unisex.
I cannot tell you how many times I have gone into one and the toilet seat was left up! I just think that is the rudest thing ever. We are all trying to stay clean here and now I have to deal with that? Do that at home, not in public at a place that is trying to be as clean as possible. I usually end up kicking it down with my foot, and it makes such a loud crashing sound that a nurse comes running to make sure someone hasn't fallen.
Anyways, I just needed to get that out!
