As if I wasn't feeling down enough already. Tigger had a "static" seizure on Saturday. It's a seizure that won't end without medical intervention. After a weekend at the emergency vet clinic / doggy ICU, he had another seizure last night and the vet determined the damage was too extensive for him to recover from. I went in during the middle of the night last night and had him put to sleep. Rest well Tigger. You were a good dog.

What a handsome little face x. So hard to say goodbye to our furbabies isn't it? They are part of the family and bring so much unconditional love. Rip Tigger.

I know that losing one of my little dog buddies will take far more of an emotional toll than facing stage 5 did. My sympathies to you - he looks like he was a wonderful dog.

I'm so sorry Deanne, don't be so hard on yourself. Give yourself permission to not get out of bed tomorrow. Poor furbaby. Keep your Avatar. That cute little face needs to stay.

I am a caregiver to my wonderful husband, He is 4p and started PD October 2013. We have several living donors waiting to be tested for a transplant. Dialysis is a bridge to get us where we need to go. He had a transplant in November 2019.

I well understand your loss. We had to let go of our "Herbie' the one-eyed love bug Beagle. His prior owner (they won't tell me who) took a hammer to his head to stop his whining and barking at night in the yard. He was only 3 months old. We've loved him for just over ten years. He had a siezure and slipped into a coma. The Vet told us it was undiagnosed diabetes had destroyed his kidneys. There was no hope. We cried. I don't know if we will ever replace him.

I know you could never replace Herbie...but I am sure there is another baby out there that needs a loving family and could create a new place of love in your heart.
