I'm not a happy camper. I came down with a cold yesterday. My temp last night was 101, thankfully down to 99 this morning. Congestion will probably set in tomorrow. Is there anything I can take for it? I have my clinic appointment tomorrow. Will they still want me to come in, or should I call and ask? I don't want to share it with anyone else.

How thoughtful of you!  My sister's boyfriend came to our Thanksgiving Dinner with a cold he wanted to share with everyone.  I wish more people were like you.

You can simply wear a mask. That cuts the chance of transmitting it down significantly. Also dont touch anyone . Most viruses are transmitted by touch.
Hope you feel better soon.

My mother, 89, caught a cold, and so did my wife, at Thanksgiving, from my sister's boyfriend.  I've been lucky so far.  It's been really cold for Southern California this week.  I'm spoiled.  It's been mid-seventies for a few hours every afternoon, up until this week.
