I got my secret Santa package last night.  Jenna sent me 2 ornaments both are VW. The first one is a 21 window bus and the other is a bug. I love them both. Very cute. There was enough chocolate for each kid and Ed to get one and I got 2.
Thank you Jenna.

AmandaWilson - I love  the ornaments! A handcrafted Zebra from Kenya and a fuzzy little baby Vicuna (Llama) from Peru.  My grandson raises and shows Alpacas, so I've named the Vicuna "Trevor" and he will live on a shelf in my living room.  I will think of you and my grandson every time I look at him.
Thank you for both of them.

AlohaBeth - I'm so glad you enjoyed your gifts. What luck to get a Disney fan's name! Finding Disney items is pretty much a piece of cake around here!

Whether the glass is half empty or half full is not as important as being thankful there's a glass and grateful there's something in it.

KitKatz, did Victor like the crow?

I think I have to get one of those little wooden boxes for myself; I love them! It came from the Carpathian Mountains in the Ukraine, that's why it took so long to get here.

You aren't stupid! I only signed the card with my first initial (M).

I had the best secret Santa!  First I apologize for a 2 day delay in posting. I went to bed Christmas night and only woke for bathroom and drinks until this morning. Guess my body was done!    My secret Santa was Kitkatz and she did a spectacular job. First a wonderful Paris box filled with perfect gits. A beautiful desk clock that I love,  A book mark with a charm-- the Ruffle tower! Books and Paris -- 2 of my favorite things!  There are 4 (4!) Books that are all made to make you smile and laugh. Something I have struggled with lately.  They are "wake up laughing",  "a dose of daily laughter", "Chuckles to cheer you", and " some days you might as well laugh".   We all need to laugh more!  Thank you Kitkatz. You are a great gifter!    I love the ss exchange.  It means more now than in years past.  Love to you and Victor!

Thank you Cebushan for organizing things this year!  It can't be the easiest job, when you need to hound people to get stuff sent out.. and thanks to Kitkatz picking up the slack when Cebushan was "off the grid" *G*

I love Secret Santa.. Mom actually hides the packages and takes a marker to the customs tags so I can't see what's in them.. *G*

Yes it was  my youngest daughter that made your card. Did you get the ornament together?
Glad you liked the gifts.

You gave to much leeway for me. Very hard to shop when you say that you like almost anything that doesn't come for free in the mail.

I did get the ornament together and it's been sitting on my tree.  When I finished it I turned to Blokey sand said, 'Look, it's a dog!' to which he pointed out that it was a reindeer.  This made much more sense! It will definitely get used every year!

You did a smashing job of getting me fabulous bits, despite me being a pain in the backside! But honestly, I love anything (well, ok, MOST things) and I love surprises!

Oh and CebuShan, you did a fabulous job too! I know how hard it is to make sure everything is sorted! Well done you!

I've been in touch with smcd23. She did receive hers (says she told CebuShan) and hers is on its way to its recipient, but she had big hassles with the post office over it which is why it's late ... but it is on its way!

The patient, the baby and the donor - October 2010

« Reply #221 on: January 22, 2014, 08:57:20 PM »

Sorry I went  MIA - the short time frame between Thanksgiving and New Year got me this year, had very limited time at home, never mind on the computer. Then I got sick and was literally in bed for a few days with a flu like illness which was so not what I planned during the holidays. So I also had no idea CebuShan went MIA for awhile either so reading back it looks like the messages I sent didn't get passed along -- oops!

My son and I enjoyed our gifts very much, except I didn't enjoy when I stepped on his matchbox car. I will also admit I didn't make him wait until Christmas, he was driving me bonkers. Thanks Deniferfer :)

Sorry for this late thank you, but between my 96 y.o. husband and myseelf, we have been ill lsince the first of December and am just now feeling better and up to doing things.

And Paris wrote on the card enclosed that I would know who my Secret Santa was.  How cleaver.  Thank you ever so much Paris.
