I am an 81 year old male and have been on HD at a center for almost 1 year. My name is Leonard, but people call Len. Just found this site yesterday and have been reading some of the posts. I think it is a great place to get information from more experienced D patients and to offer comments to others.

I hope to be able to participate in some of the forum topics in the near future.

Welcome, Len.  It's good to hear from you.  This forum is just the greatest.  I'm stage 4 and hope to remain that way, or better still, go down to stage 3.  Was dx 9 years ago and have tried to keep to the diet the renal dietitian suggested.

Again, welcome. :waving;
