 :2thumbsup;  After 4 weeks on Zepatier my Hep C numbers have improved, from 50 to teens, according to my doctor, that's good.  Eight weeks left of $500 a day pills.  :)

2003 peritineum burst, back to hemo

       still on waitinglist, still ok I think

 :bestwishes; :yahoo;   My last test showed ZERO evidence of the Hep C virus.  Now, if I can just find a kidney!

They are actually talking about using Hep-C positive kidneys in Hep-C negative recipients, then curing the Hep-C after the sugery.

Yes, that's right.  My doctor mentioned the same thing.  I might have gotten a kidney if I hadn't got my Hep C cured.  I have skin cancer so I think they're going to kick me off the transplant list.  That's okay.  Artificial kidneys are in development testing as we speak.  I'd prefer one of those to a transplant.
