My wife Sydnee has been on this fourm for awile and I am just getting here. I am a 51 YO father of 4 living here in windy Wyoming. I currently am doing PD. I got Broncites last November and again in December and an ear infection this pushed my ceratian from 5 to 8 caused verdigo and vomiting and it was on the same day as my meeting the new kidney doctor for the first time. He sent us to the ER and they put me in the Hospital thet put in a tunnal catheter and started dialysis. I got a fistula put in and used it for awile and then switched to PD. Dr says it is working well for me. It generates alot of trash and my wife dosn't like the cycler. I have been working since about a month after getting out of the hospatal, not full time while on hemo. I work at Lowes loading special order applinces on outbound trucks. I work on the weekend shift to accomidate Dr visits etc and they give me time twice a day to do dialysis. I drain in the mourning and fill in the afternoon. I haven't slept well since last November. Dialysis has slowed me down a bit, we are looking to sell our house and move into town to a smaller house, this is a slow prosess but nessesory as my earning potentalo is just going down. My wife has PKD and her kidneys are on there way out. The Transplant cordenator said we are only the second couple to go through this together in her 21 years, this is one thing we don't want to share. Musle cramps are my most anoying side affect I am dealing with.

Ed, thank you so much for joining. Having a husband and wife going through this together is certainly unusual, so we will be very interested in how the two of you are coping. I appreciate the two of you coming on board.
