today three years of dedication and hard work have paid off.  have just watched my son pass his black belt test on the first attempt.  it's a tough program, not one of those where you virtually buy the belt.  this was the earliest that he could even take it, as he took the novice test early and passed that first time.  the majority of people take several attempts to pass each one.  he has a very proud mom and dad (his dad had tears in his eyes and the only other time that I've seen that was when Blake was born)!  it is this sort of thing that makes everything worthwhile.

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.
