I'll get right to the point. I'm looking for someone who is good at drawing and wouldn't mind using that skill to help me with a project I'm working on.

Let me know if you're interested, and if you wouldn't mind, show me a bit of your work.

Send a PM to Okarol and have her pass it along to her daughter Jenna.  Talented girl!

It's the YouTube/ Facebook project I've mentioned before on here. It's non profit, hopefully I can get someone who is willing to help, I've got some great ideas ready to be unleashed lol.

I'm a pretty good cartoonist, Customink has a great T-shirt design thing you can use to design T-shirts I've used it to design some for my band. They also have one at Cafepress where the ihatedialysis store is but this one is way better.    Nick

When I was needled up everytime I went to dialysis I did a drawing of my arm and hand connected to the lines. Said I would stop when I ever got off dialysis....275 drawings later I did my last one.

You had to get pretty good at drawing your arm and hand, that's a lot of repetitions!I do find that drawing during dialysis passes the time quickly, and I get to amuse the staff and other patients ,most people really enjoy being subjects.       Nick

Well Chinksnicky, I could definitely use your skill. Cartoonist sounds great. Are you on Facebook at all? I'm on there a bit more recently. Your skills could be used to add some humour to the project in question.

I knew your name rung a bell Larry, I messaged you on Facebook about this already lol. It must have gone into your "Other" messages, rather than your inbox as we aren't "Friends" on Facebook. Do you still draw anything related to dialysis now you're off dialysis?

Lot of good groups and a good sister group to this one I HATE DIALYSIS. I also moderate a few myself. Not for everybody. I promote my art there and have a renal support group and one that helps people seek out donors through social networking.

No real reason for me to post on this, but Nick kindly volunteered to help and his work is ice kool! I'm grateful you offered to help my friend, the rest of the forum should be excited to see your work! Pretty soon the wait will be over and people will see what we've been working on. I can't wait! I'm so excited!
