 I have not posted on here in awhile, my fiance Jack who I was with for 26 years passed on 1/13/2012.  The last six months of his life were very difficult, he got an infection in his foot lost June, and they had to amputate his toe, and he seemed to spiral downward after that.  He was in the hospital every month, and I feel that he was just done with all of it, and could not go on any longer.  I spent most of the time running to work, and running to the hospital.  He was losing weight, and when he passed, he only weighed 127, and that was the smallest he had ever been since I have known him. During the last two months, he was unable to drive his truck, and could not even get in a a passenger. He could barely walk, and was losing the function of his hands and arms, and kept having breathing problems, due to fluid in his lungs.  I know he is in a better place now, and is resting, free from illness, but my heart is broken, and I still cannot figure out to do with myself.

Thank you to all, I know you all understand about Kidney disease, and what a toll it takes on the body, and how rough the Dialysis can be for some people.  Not all understand this, and I have heard many comments that they never thought he was so sick.  So I am glad this site is here.

 So sorry to hear about you losing Jack. His pain is over his battle won. Now is the time for you to keep moving and keep your mind occupied. This won't stop the pain but maybe make it just a little easier to deal with. My heart goes out to you and prayers will be sent up for you. God Bless you and keep you, Bill    :grouphug; :grouphug; :grouphug;

This is so difficult to hear Tee.  Please keep in touch with us!  Let us know how you are doing and coping with his passing.  It hurts so much to hear this.  Jack IS without the pain, he is at peace now!  Take care of yourself and we are here for you, whenever you need to talk!

My sympathies to both Tee and Wackywixo on your losses. Not knowing what to do with yourselves is a reflection on your care and concern for your loved ones. As others have said, now is the time to take care of yourselves. Wishing you strength and courage!
