In the mail today I received a mailer from the Pontiac-GMC dealer where I bought my TransAm.  I understand that my hubby is onthe contract with me on the car.  I also understand that his name was first.  I am trying to be understanding about it but...

I picked out the car.
I test drove it.
I finagled with the finance guy to get payments I could afford.
I wanted the car.
I made every damn payment on the car myself!
I drive the car most days.
I pay for maintenance and upkeep on the car.
I even buy premium gas to put in the car.
My hubby hates my car and did not want me to buy it in the first place.
So...
Why do they send the free oil change to my husband instead of to me???
Pontiac and I have got to have a talk. I already told the dealership I am the one in charge of this car.  If they send stuff to the hubby I am insulted by them! I understand we are a team, but I own and LOVE this car.

Because they got one stupid person in the house hold to buy a "Pontiac" and they are trying to hook the other one!

From a HONDA owner!

You can call them and tell them to take Victors name off the list and add yours.

Kit,  will they let you use the coupon even if it is Victor's name?  I am sure they would have no problem changing the name of the recipient,  if it bothers you that much, why not just ask, just make sure they see the big stick before they give their answer ;)

Just tell them you have your very own Power Ranger (me) with you, and we expect things to get change immediately.

Fight for your rights, Kit. Call Gloria Alred.
Or you could buy a new car and leave his name off.
Well, just get the oil changed for free, but make HIM take it in. hehehehe
Luckily you love the hubby and the car. The dealership... they are clueless.

That is the reason and only reason.

Me and my wife have a similar problem.  The funny thing is that she was put first on all the contracts since she was to be the primary person on the vehicle, and it was her credit that we got the most from for the financing.  When everything was said and done though it was me that they put first in the system.  When we got the first stuff for the vehicle in the mail my wife noticed it that it was in my name and called them up quite pissed.  The person she talked to told them that it is standard for them to put the husbands name first so that is why it's in my name and they couldn't change it.
