Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: February 13, 2012, 09:32:02 AM »

I sure hope this works out for me.  It is a stay at home job.  This guy is a full-time Architect and is starting a side business doing drawings and 3-D modeling for customers.  So, when he is at work he will transfer calls to me and also I'll be transferring files on his website and keeping track of projects and where they are at.

I've been on the phone and learned how to log in to his email and he was working with me on Pay Pal when his phone went dead.  He was on his lunch break.  So I'm supposed to get a call at 9:30pm as that is when we were both free tonight.  I'll learn how to take a payment in paypal.

But,  I went to the vascular surgeon yesterday and we have to fix my fistula, so here I have this new job and I'll be here and there for fistulagrams and surgeries and complications up the yeing yang I'm sure!  But.... one day at a time.  Right?

Great news about the job, Rerun - and bad news about the fistulagram.  Dang it all.  It's not enough that we have a full time job of "doing dialysis" what with watching what we eat, how much we eat, how much we drink, how high our bp is, how low, how much we have to have taken off, bla bla bla.  Hope all goes well with the fistulagram.

Hope the fistulagram is boring.  I like boring when I'm in the hospital; it means nothing went wrong!

Good news on the job, bad news with the fistula.  Hope all goes well, though with both!

Going through life tied to a chair!

« Reply #24 on: February 19, 2012, 04:00:47 AM »

So, one of the first things he had me do was to notify the other applicants that they did not get the job.  He said I only had to do this if I wanted to I didn't have to.  I told him I would.  So I had to read on the web about rejection letters and I think I did an okay job.  He said I did a good job and he was happy.   :yahoo;

My heart is so happy.  I just feel a skip in my step that I have a little job and feel productive.  I have a reason to live  and that is kind of sad.  My job and my puppy.  My reasons to live.

Friday is my fistulagrams in both arms.  That should be no big deal but I need to dialyze that night to get that dye out of my system.  They didn't tell me that.  Don't you think someone should have said "now we are going to be using a lot of dye in both arms and you will need to dialyze within 8 hours."  But Nooooo I knew this from reading this site that you need to get that dye out.  My kidneys are already dead so the dye won't hurt them but what about my other organs?  Geez you would think that would be a concern.

I just have to take one day at a time.   :pray;
