Yucky snow, I hate it, I love it for Christmas and New Year's and then after that it can go bye bye til the next Christmas. LOL        :rofl;

Well, we had been spoiled with nice weather .......til now      :P   We were lucky......

I live about an hour from Toronto and it's par for the course this year, but I always dread the cold and the snow.      :rant;

One would think having lived in Canada all my life, I'd be used to the cold by now, but I've noticed since renal failure last year, with chronic kidney disease, I'm chronically cold so the cold outside always seems to make me feel........colder.     :P

You're fortunate Cordelia. We've had 3 snow storms here already, and another in the queue for next week.

Move to England!! We have (pathetic) snow about twice a year and both days (!) it manages to shut everything down.  The media then bleats on about it for weeks.  I'd love a bit of proper snow like you guys have!

Arg.. if you got the snow it means it's heading my way (Ottawa).

Since renal failure I've been chronically cold as well, I've been drinking hot water since September.

And in the summer I was enjoying the hot weather, but I was still cold every day even in +30 weather after dialysis.

Snow is a four letter word!  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

I like to see one snow that covers the ground each year, and THAT IS IT!  :rofl;

We are fortunate in Tennessee. We don't see very much of it.  :2thumbsup;

Whaddya mean, finally????  Did you want it to snow??  *LOL*

At least you guys in Ontario got a summer.  We froze our butts off down here in the Maritimes this summer.  We had a little bit of snow on Friday, but it was mixed with the regular Remembrance day rain.  By late Saturday morning, it was all gone.

Riki,    LOL      :rofl;      I can imagine you froze there!  I had heard it was quite a bit cooler.  It was pretty hot here in the summer. Ran my a/c straight for 6 weeks and then my air conditioner broke  mid August      ::)

It was beautiful here today, very sunny-cold but sunny, which I liked.......November hasn't really felt like a 'typical' November here this year, it's been unusually nice for November.....this month is usually typically a mix of this and a mix of that.

Mcclane, I lived in BC for a year ........I miss the winters out West

I'll trade ya.. I've never been anywhere where it doesn't snow in winter.. Mom and I want to go somewhere warm for a vacation next winter, but we're unsure of the dialysis situation at many of the resorts.  Mom wants to go to Cuba, but I couldn't find anything on dialysis there, and I want to go to Cozumel, but I couldn't find any information there either.  Hmm.. since you live there, maybe you know of a better place for someone on dialysis to visit..

Well, we got hit with that freezing rain the other night, I was glad to be in. We were supposed to get some lastnight too but never saw it.  I'm really glad I live a 2 minute drive from my hospital.  ...that I don't live far to drive now since the move in March.

My backyard fence actually backs onto the hospital parking lot from my backyard. Don't know if the fence is mine or the hospital's.  My lawyer couldn't even figure it out for me. I'd LOVE to know, all I would really need to do is cut out a section for a gate and voila! I'm right in the parking lof of the hospital, that is I I wanted to take a short cut walking.    :rofl;      :rofl;
On foot walking via the city streets, it's only a 10 min walk, it's great!

It's a bit foggy today and I can smell something brewing in the air, I just know we're gonna get something tonight likely----I need to check the weather channel!       ;)

Most of the snow we got is melted now, except for where it was piled up from shoveling and plowing.  There were some really nice piles in the parking lot where we watched the Santa Claus parade tonight.  One kid was thinking, and was sitting on top of one of the snow piles to watch the parade.  I don't think he was allowed to stay there, although he would have had a perfect view

I don’t know what all of the fuss is about, I just looked out the window and the sky is clear, the stars are twinkling and the neighbor’s dog pooped on the patio again. It’s the same thing everyday, boring.  California is like that.
