I have been following this girl's story for over a year. Her name is the same as my daughter - Jenna Marie - and
she's been struggling with a brain stem tumor for some time. If you could take a minute and pass on some
good thoughts, or if you can pray for her, please do so. Her mom has been a great support to me this past
year and I am so grateful for that. http://www.caringbridge.org/fl/jennamarie/

I am so worried, signs are not looking good right now.
Her mom is hoping for a miracle. I don't understand
kids getting cancer. It's just so heart breaking.

How horrible - I just opened up her journal to see what's new, and found out she died at 10:41 today!  Needless to say, she, her family, and her friends and fellow patients are still in my prayers, but what heartbreak!

Thanks Suzie. I will do that. Her mom has been a true advocate for Jenna Marie - and they both fought as long as they could.
I was so sad thinking about this. What makes sense about a 14 year old dying of a brain stem tumor? I just cannot for the life
of me understand it.

Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

There is so much we will never understand.  However, one thing I know, is that these challenges can bring out the best in us (or the worse, if we allow them)! My prayers are with the family and I join with Goofynina to ask that you transmit condolences and caring sympathetic thoughts from IHD.
